Job Details

What You'll Do:
As a Process Engineer, you'll serve as the technical expert for manufacturing processes, working cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Tooling, and Program Management to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure successful product launches.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
  • Support new product launches from concept through production, including process development, validation, production trials, and launch activities.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing, tooling, and equipment issues using structured root cause analysis.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, throughput, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Analyze production data and identify opportunities to improve process capability and manufacturing performance.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, process parameters, control plans, and standardized procedures.
  • Partner with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Support equipment selection, automation projects, process improvements, and future capacity planning.
  • Lead engineering changes, tooling improvements, and process validation activities.
  • Train production personnel on process standards and best manufacturing practices.
  • Participate in quality initiatives, audits, and continuous improvement projects while ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Plastics Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a high-volume production environment.
  • Experience with injection molding or similar manufacturing processes strongly preferred.
  • Background supporting new product launches, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, or similar automotive quality systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Experience improving manufacturing processes through Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with automation, robotics, production equipment, and process optimization.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, technical specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
