• Lead the daily operation of the production floor.
• Drive productivity, quality, safety, and employee accountability.
• Build and develop a high-performing production team.
• Partner with the Operations Manager to achieve customer commitments and operational goals.
• Own the day-to-day execution of production while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

• Lead all production associates during assigned shift.
• Monitor daily production goals and adjust staffing as needed to achieve targets.
• Coach, train, and develop employees to improve performance.
• Hold associates accountable for attendance, productivity, quality, safety, and workplace expectations.
• Document performance issues and partner with management and HR on corrective action when necessary.
• Respond promptly to emails, Microsoft Teams messages, and operational communications.
• Communicate production status, staffing concerns, and operational issues to management.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and company policies.
• Promote a safe and organized work environment.
• Support onboarding and training of new associates.

• Recognize that the production workforce consists primarily of contracted labor.
• Build a strong, reliable, and high-performing team through coaching, training, and consistent expectations.
• Identify high performers and develop their skills.
• Address underperformance quickly through coaching and documentation.
• Partner with management and HR to improve team performance, including recommending disciplinary action or termination when appropriate.
