Summary:

** Controls or operates machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line. May be expected to handle heavy machinery.
** RESPONSIBILITIES
* ** Safe and efficient operation of plant equipment in area of training.
* Compliance with all Evonik, state and federal regulations at all times.
* Develop understanding of plant procedures, processes, and equipment in area of training.
* Develop ability to identify issues with process equipment and process parameters in area of training.
* Maintain accurate training documentation with instructor as new processes and procedures are learned.
* Resolve issues with processes and equipment with support from more senior operation technicians.
* Support maintenance department as needed to repair equipment and ensure reliable operation of plant assets.
* Communicate Process and controls issues with area engineers and assist with data acquisition.
* Assist technicians that are more senior and develop hands on knowledge of operating procedures and equipment.
* Support basic safety process including maintaining compliance with any required training.
** REQUIREMENTS
* ** High School Diploma or GED required
* Good time management skills
* Mechanical aptitude
* Safety oriented
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, from day and night
