Position Overview
Lead and coordinate production activities in a 24/7 cement manufacturing facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations while supervising production teams, driving workforce performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead and develop a team of production employees.
Oversee daily plant operations to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
Coordinate activities with maintenance, quality, and operations teams.
Troubleshoot production, equipment, and personnel issues.
Train employees and support continuous improvement efforts.
What We Are Looking For
High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, or related field is preferred.
3+ years of leadership experience in a heavy industrial or heavy manufacturing environment.
Experience in cement, aggregates, mining, or similar industrial operations preferred.
Strong understanding of OSHA, MSHA, or comparable industrial safety standards and best practices.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
Conditions of Employment
Ability to obtain and maintain required ATF licensing for handling detonators used in plant operations.
Ability to work a rotating schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Successful completion of all required pre-employment screenings.
Work in a 24/7 cement manufacturing facility.
Exposure to dust, noise, heavy equipment, and varying weather conditions.
Frequent walking, climbing, and work around industrial processes.
Support rotating production crews in a fast-paced operational environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely perform physical job requirements.
