The Secondary Machine Operator position is responsible for operating machinery, performing quality checks and assisting with job setups.

• Operate assigned machines safely and efficiently
• Perform quality checks on parts produced
• Maintain production standards for assigned jobs
• Load and remove parts from machines
• Keep machines and work areas clean and organized
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Ability to perform machine operations and assist with setups
• Proficiency in using prevision measuring instruments
• Ability to read and interpret technical prints
• Basic mechanical skills and problem-solving ability
• Good attendance and reliability
• Willingness to perform a variety of tasks across the departments
• Successful candidates must be fluent enough in English to read and understand written and verbal safety instructions, read and understand standard operating procedures for machine operation, and coordinate effectively with English-speaking co-workers and supervisors

• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
• Effective communication and teamwork

• Must be able to stand for long periods at a time
• Ability to push and pull frequently
• Frequent bending at the waist
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Exposure to a manufacturing environment that may include noise, temperature variations, and moving equipment.
• May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses or steel-toed shoes when on the shop floor or near loading docks.
