Chair Repair Technician

Repairs and cleans used chairs by performing the following duties.

  • Removes dust and stains from chairs using various cleaners and upholstery cleaning machine.
  • Visually inspects chairs to ensure cleanliness.
  • Inspects chair in order to evaluate condition and parts needed for repair.
  • Uses basic hand tools (e.g., cordless drill, glue sprayer, screwdriver, etc.) to disassemble chairs, repair chair arms, casters, etc., and re-assemble to working order.
  • Removes covering, webbing, and padding from seat, arms, back, and sides of workpiece.
  • Installs material on inside of arms, back, and seat, and over outside back and arms of frame.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
