Large Format Print Operator

Description

• Prepare and maintain print media, including loading materials and ensuring proper alignment.
• Operate large format finishing equipment, such as laminators, cutters, and trimmers.
• Conduct quality checks on printed materials to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Troubleshoot minor issues with printing equipment and assist in routine maintenance.
• Handle pre-press tasks, including organizing files, checking for quality and accuracy, and ensuring files are print-ready.
• Organize and manage the print queue to maximize efficiency and meet deadlines.
• Keep the workspace clean and organized, adhering to safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain inventory of printing supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing or graphic design Knowledge software’s is a plus.
• Previous experience in a printing environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with large format printing processes and equipment is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. materials and stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving repetitive motions.
• Basic knowledge of file preparation software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) is a plus but not required.

• This position may require working in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
• Some manual labor, including lifting and moving materials up to 50lbs with assistance, is required.
