CNC Lathe Machinist

Pay:

$28.00 – $40.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Koester Corporation, located in Napoleon, Ohio, is looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join our growing machine shop.

Our machinists are trusted to take ownership of their work, and we invest in quality equipment, maintain a clean shop, and give our employees the tools they need to succeed. Koester Corp invested in two new lathes in the spring of 2026, including a Haas ST25Y with live tooling.

• Set up and operate CNC lathes to machine precision parts from customer drawings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and customer specifications.
• Select tooling, fixtures, and work holding for each job.
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet print requirements and customer expectations.
• Work with programmers, engineering, and other machinists to solve manufacturing challenges.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• 3+ years of CNC lathe setup experience in a job shop environment.
• Ability to independently set up jobs from a print.
• Strong blueprint reading skills.
  
  Experience with Haas controls preferred.
• Mastercam experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of G & M code editing.
• Comfortable holding tolerances from ±.001″ to ±.005″.Own basic precision measuring tools.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help the team succeed.

$28 – $40 per hour (Based on Experience)
