The Production Technician is a highly hands-on role responsible for the deflashing, inspection, cleaning, and packaging of precision molded rubber and rubber-to-metal bonded components , requiring exceptional attention to detail, manual dexterity, and craftsmanship to ensure every component is clean, undamaged, dimensionally accurate, and fully compliant with customer specifications.
This isn't assembly-line work.

What You'll DoCarefully deflash molded rubber and rubber-to-metal components using specialized hand tools and equipment, removing excess material while preserving critical dimensions, sealing surfaces, and product integrity.
Work around intricate edges, grooves, and precision features to ensure every component meets exact specifications and customer requirements.
Inspect finished components for cosmetic defects, flash, dimensional accuracy, and overall quality before they move to the next stage of production.
Use precision hand tools, Dremel equipment, scrapers, and other approved finishing tools to perform detailed deflashing and finishing operations.
Ensure finished goods are customer-ready, properly identified, traceable, and packaged to the highest quality standards.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations teams to solve problems, improve processes, and support a culture of craftsmanship, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in San Carlos, California.
Shift - Monday through Friday / 3:30pm - 12:00am
This role involves working in a manufacturing environment and requires standing, performing repetitive hand movements, handling small precision components, and maintaining focus on detailed, quality-critical work throughout the shift.
QualificationsRequired
- 2+ years of manufacturing, production, molding, assembly, or quality experience
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work with small, detailed, and precision components
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks whilemaintainingexceptional quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workmanship
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence
- Experience in rubber molding, polymer manufacturing, medical device manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing, or precision production environments
- Experience using precision finishing or inspection tools
- Understanding of quality systems and manufacturing standards
- Experience working in environments where product quality is mission critical
- This role offers competitive annual compensation aligned with experience and scope, including base salary typically ranging from $24.00 to $26.00 per hour.
