Hitachi Energy,locatedin Alamo,TN ,is seeking a Condenser Bushing Assembler in OPD. This position will follow all safety and work procedures to stock parts in correct locations, visually inspect parts and components, wind condensers, assemble/disassemble/clan molds, load/unload clamping machines, prepare epoxy, monitor casting processes, operate curing ovens, assemble flanges and terminals, extrude silicone sheds, prepare bushings for testing, transport bushings to test and perform visual inspections.
Responsibilities:
Manufacturing condenser bushings to meet internal procedures, specifications, industry standards, and customer requirements
Able to read andcomprehendsafety procedures, work instructions, and assembly drawings
Handles epoxy compounds, ethyl and isopropyl alcohol, mold releases, cleaning solutions, adhesives, O-Rings, aluminum/copper/brassmachinedcomponents, primer, and silicone
Continuously trainson new equipment or processes within the O Plus Dry condenser bushing area
Adheres to quantity standards based on load plan and production schedule
Able to wear steel toe shoes and safety glasses, gloves, powered air purifying respirator (PAPR) asrequiredpersonal protection equipment
Must be able to work within a team structure with minimal supervision on routine tasks –additional direction as needed for non-standard assignments
Requirements:
High school graduate or GED
One year of experience in a manufacturing assembly setting that requires a high degree of mechanical aptitude
