Mold Set Up Technician

Job Title: Mold Setup Technician
- Injection Molding / Manufacturing

Location: Easley, SC

Pay: $23+/hour

Schedule: 2nd Shift | Monday
- Friday | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

• Perform mold changes and setup functions for injection molding and/or thermoforming machines
• Load and position molds into presses and complete changeovers
• Set up and adjust auxiliary equipment (heat controllers, chillers, thermolators)
• Monitor machine operation and adjust settings to ensure product quality
• Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of molds and equipment
• Inspect molds for defects and ensure proper storage
• Complete documentation for all changeovers and setups
• Troubleshoot production issues and support process improvements
• Train and assist operators on proper machine usage and safety procedures
• Safely operate forklifts and other equipment as needed

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 6 months of plastic manufacturing or molding experience preferred
• Experience with injection molding, thermoforming, or similar processes
• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and technical specifications
• Forklift experience preferred (or ability to obtain certification)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus
