Pay:Start at $38 per hour

Schedule:Monday – Friday, Day shift

This is a temp-to-hire position.

Our client is seeking an experienced Programmer to support CNC programming, tooling, and process improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role works closely with production, engineering, and CNC operators to develop efficient programs, improve quality, and maintain accurate documentation.

• Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions and process definitions
• Collaborate with CAM/CNC operators to create part drawings and part programs
• Improve quality, yield, and productivity with Production and Manufacturing Engineering
• Ensure optimal operability of CNC machines and equipment
• Write CNC programs from geometry, CAD files, and engineering drawings
• Create tool paths, NC code, and setup sheets in CAM software (AutoCAD, Mastercam)
• Complete required programming documentation
• Support team leadership, including mentoring junior Programmers
• Manage products, processes, and assist with new employee orientation

• AA Degree in Automated Manufacturing or related field
• 4+ years of CNC programming and manufacturing experience
• Focus on Lathe is highly preferred
• Ability to perform manual and/or CNC machining
• Skilled in fixture/tooling design with operators
• Strong troubleshooting skills for machining and programming issues
• Proficient with AutoCAD, blueprint reading, and BOMs
• Ability to read machine codes and determine proper speeds/feeds
• Able to use precision measuring equipment
