Duration: 6 months
Shift: 1st shift 5:30am-4:00PM 4x10A
As the Aircraft Painter, Paint Technician you will be responsible for a variety of essential job functions, such as:
- Interpret marking drawings to accurately apply both major and minor interior/exterior aircraft markings and decals.
- Prepare aircraft surfaces by washing, cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure they are free from contaminants and ready for high-quality painting.
- Utilize various tools such as grinders, sanders, paint guns, and measuring devices to prepare and paint aircraft surfaces, parts, and components.
- Maintain and troubleshoot painting equipment to ensure its operational effectiveness and longevity within the aerospace industry.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, Foreign Object Debris (FOD)-free work area.
- Mission essential functions and other duties may be assigned as required.
Physical Requirements:
- Candidates must complete a post-offer medical exam prior to the start.
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee will be required to wear Personal Protective
- Use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk; and hear.
- Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, twist, and work on or in the aircraft.
- Frequently lift and/or push or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Perform repetitive movements and work overhead.
- Equipment (PPE) as needed to perform job tasks.
- The employee is regularly exposed to vibration.
- **** Respirator certification is required
1st shift 5:30am-4:00PM 4x10A
Minimum 5+ years of Aircraft specific paint experience.
C-130 Aircraft paint experience is preferred, but not required

- Technical Skills High Gloss Finish Painting Yes 1 4 - 6 Years
