At Forks Foundry, our success depends on having the right materials, parts, and supplies available when they are needed most. As a Maintenance Inventory Administrator, you will play a critical role in keeping our foundry running efficiently by managing maintenance inventory, ensuring parts availability, and supporting the teams that keep our equipment operating safely and reliably. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help minimize downtime, improve productivity, and support continuous operations across the facility.

Every component you track, order, and maintain directly contributes to the safety, performance, and success of our manufacturing processes. Your work won't just support production, it will help power the products and solutions our customers depend on every day.

WHAT YOU’LL BUILD & OWN
  • Manage and organize maintenance and production inventory, supplies, and materials to support smooth daily operations.
  • Understand and abide by all Company safety rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Ensure that safe and sanitary working conditions are maintained in the facility in accordance with Company standards, as well as, state & federal laws and regulations.
  • Know and understand your OSHA rights.
  • Conduct safety training topics as required or needed.
  • Responsible for attending all assigned safety meetings, toolbox talks, and safety training sessions.
  • As required, promptly investigate accidents and near misses, completing appropriate reports and taking action to eliminate root causes.
  • Manage the storeroom/tool inventories; receive all supplies in addition to the maintenance and tool inventories.
  • Order all necessary production and maintenance parts and supplies.
  • Maintain all necessary parts/supplies using both physical inventory and database systems.
  • Order and receive maintenance and production supplies and parts and store them properly in their designated areas.
  • Monitor usage of supplies and parts to ensure that sufficient inventories are being maintained and that waste is avoided.
  • Alert Maintenance Manager when inventory usage (parts and/or supplies) is in excess of normal.
  • Keep the storeroom and auxiliary area neat and clean according to the "like or better than new" standard.
  • Benchmark preferred vendors, preferred parts, and other Victaulic storerooms to determine and implement best practices.
  • Work with the Supervisors and other pertinent personnel to set up and implement practices and procedures for proper distribution of all parts/supplies.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Two years’ experience with inventory systems (preferably in the Maintenance area) desired.
  • Good organizational skills a must.
  • Must be willing to work weekends, extended hours, or other shifts as necessary.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance/demeanor.
  • Must have basic computer skills (two years’ experience preferred).
