Salary Range: $16.50 To $19.50 Hourly
About the Role:
The Tube Mill Helper plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of tube mill machinery by assisting skilled operators and ensuring smooth workflow throughout the production process. This position involves preparing materials, performing measurements, and conducting routine mechanical tasks to maintain equipment functionality and product quality. The helper will contribute to maintaining a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols and assisting in troubleshooting minor mechanical issues.
Collaboration with team members is essential to meet production targets and maintain consistent output. Ultimately, the Tube Mill Helper ensures that the tube mill operates effectively, supporting the overall manufacturing goals of the facility.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Basic mechanical experience or familiarity with industrial machinery.
- Ability to accurately use a tape measure and other measuring tools.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to use hand tools with a basic knowledge in mechanics.
- Experience with safety protocols in an industrial setting.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist tube mill operators in setting up and adjusting machinery for production runs.
- Use tape measures and other tools to accurately measure materials and components.
- Perform routine mechanical maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as needed.
- Monitor the production process to identify and report any issues or irregularities.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by following established safety guidelines and procedures.
Employee must wear steel toe boots or shoes.
Must be able to pass a criminal history check and drug screen.
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Employee is eligible for an additional $1.00 per hour attendance incentive for each week in which the employee has perfect attendance.
After completing initial training, the employee will also be eligible for a production incentive. When production qualifies during a shift, this incentive may range from an additional $1.00 to $3.00 per hour.
Pay:From $16.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Mon-Fri 6am- 2pm
- Possible schedule change to Mon-Thurs 5am- 3pm

- After 90 Days - 401(k) Eligibility begins after 6 months of continuous employment. Through voluntary deduction and is non-contributory by the employer.
