Environment, Health and Safety Manager

The Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager is responsible for leading all EHS programs for a manufacturing facility in Jackson, MI. This role ensures regulatory compliance, drives a proactive safety culture, supports environmental stewardship, and partners with site leadership to continuously improve workplace safety and operational performance.

• Lead and administer all site environmental, health, and safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Develop, coordinate, and deliver employee training programs.
• Lead incident, injury, and near-miss investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Manage environmental permits, reporting, inspections, and compliance audits.
• Oversee hazardous waste management and environmental compliance activities.
• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, industrial hygiene evaluations, and exposure monitoring activities.

• Bachelor's degree in related field and/or 5-10+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with OSHA, EPA, process safety, and environmental compliance programs.
• Experience leading safety training, investigations, and compliance initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing setting.
