3rd Shift Welder / Fabricator

Our client is looking for an individual with welding, construction or concrete experience.

The ideal candidate will be looking for a full-time opportunity and come from a skilled trade with a proven track on job longevity.

Located in Carlisle.

Pay:$23.00-$26.00/ hour (DOE) + Shift Differential
Hours: 6:00pm-6:00am (Mon – Thurs)
* Requires Ability to train on days 2-4 weeks

Duties
:

• Prep, fit, cut, drill and weld various structural steel assemblies.
• Monitor inventory and submit orders as needed, review and establish daily plans.
• Read specifications or blueprints to determine the locations, quantities, or sizes of materials required
• Unload and position prefabricated steel units for hoisting
• Connect columns, beams, and girders with bolts, following blueprints and instructions from supervisors
• Fasten structural steel members to hoist cables, using chains, cables, or rope
• Cut, bend, or weld steel pieces, using metal shears, torches, or welding equipment
• Fabricate metal parts, such as steel frames, columns, beams, or girders, according to blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
• Measure, cut and bend rebar
• Examine work pieces and defects and measure work pieces to ensure conformance with specifications

Requirements:

• Heavy MIG Welding exp2-year trade school preferred or equivalent experience (4 years)
• Stick and wire welding experience
• Ability to read blueprints
• Position could involve working outdoors in all weather conditions including extreme heat or cold
