Production Manager

Full Time, M-F 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, overtime as needed

Lead manufacturing operations at our Reno facility. Oversee daily production, enforce safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement so teams deliver on time and on budget.

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of production schedules, ensuring on-time/on-budget delivery of quality products
• Supervise production teams, providing clear direction, motivation, and support to optimize performance
• Enforce safety standards in production areas
• Monitor manufacturing processes for quality control, ensuring products meet ISO 9001 quality guidelines and customer specifications
• Implement process improvements by analyzing workflow, identifying bottlenecks, and applying lean manufacturing principles
• Oversee the use of mechanical equipment, troubleshooting issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Conduct regular safety audits, enforce heavy lifting protocols, and ensure compliance with all safety standards in production environments

• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and a semi-skilled workforce
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions swiftly
• Effective communication skills for clear coordination across departments and reporting
• Proficient in MS Office suite
• Multilingual in English and Spanish

Required qualifications:

• Direct hands-on experience with composite materials and processes, including composites manufacturing vacuum bagging processes
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively
• U.S. citizen capable of obtaining and/or maintaining a DoD Security Clearance
