What began as a welding repair shop has become one of the Midwest's premier steel fabrication facilities. Nelson Steel Products offers a complete range of steel fabrication capabilities, including robotic welding and laser cutting. They have gained a reputation of integrity, and it's as strong and uncompromising as the steel they fashion. They are seeking MIG/TIG welders. This is not robotic spot welding, it requires traditional welding skills.
This is a great company that will hire in quickly and where you can advance in your job and in wages.
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of welding experience, including Mig, Tig and spot welding.
- Ability to obtain a Hilo license.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to read, understand and work from blueprints, sketches, procedures and other specifications.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
