OVERVIEWThis role is based at a manufacturing facility that produces advanced semiconductor equipment used in areas such as high-performance computing, memory technologies, and next-generation device packaging. These systems support faster, more efficient semiconductor devices used across applications including AI, mobile, and data infrastructure.
In this role, you will support the build, integration, calibration, and testing of complex systems on the manufacturing floor. Work will include precision mechanical assemblies, optical components, and electrical subsystems, following detailed work instructions and quality standards. You will partner cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to resolve issues, maintain build schedules, and ensure systems meet performance and reliability requirements.
This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment where attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving are critical. Your contributions directly impact production throughput, system quality, and the ability to meet customer delivery commitments.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Build and integrate complex systems and subassemblies following detailed mechanical and electrical work instructions, ensuring all specifications are met.
- Interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics to execute precise assembly steps.
- Use precision measurement tools including torque wrenches, digital multimeters (DMM), gauges, levels, and electronic data capture tools as required.
- Prepare systems for shipment, including controlled disassembly, protective packaging, and completion of required documentation.
- Accurately document builds and handoffs, maintaining traceable records in designated systems.
- Perform initial troubleshooting of system or subsystem issues, escalating and partnering with engineering teams to resolve root causes.
- Identify opportunities to improve safety, assembly processes, and workplace organization (e.g., 6S practices), and communicate recommendations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and other activities required to meet production schedules.
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in an assembly, integration, or troubleshooting of complex electromechanical systems (semiconductor experience preferred but not required). Military technical experience is valued.
- Ability to work assigned shifts and overtime, including weekends or holidays during peak demand periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, work at benches or assembly stations for extended periods, and safely operate standard and precision tools in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical assembly skills: experience with…
