Job Title:
CAM Programmer
We are seeking an experienced CAM Programmer to join our team. The role involves programming all tool paths, running simulations, and creating setup sheets for operators. The successful candidate will use MasterCAM to program in the office and provide setup instructions for operators on the floor.
Responsibilities- Program all tool paths using MasterCAM.
- Run simulations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Create detailed setup sheets for operators.
- Provide setup instructions to operators on the floor.
- Identify and lead improvement efforts within the production environment.
- Proficiency in CAM programming, especially with MasterCAM.
- Understanding of basic machining principles.
- Knowledge of feeds and speeds.
- Experience working in a production CNC shop environment.
- Familiarity with mills, lathes, and conversational programming.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with other CAM software is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly for preparing setup sheets for off-shifts.
- Interest in leading and identifying improvement efforts.
This is a full-time position with a starting time of 6am, working 40 hours per week. The work environment consists of a machining shop with 22 vertical mills, 5-axis machines, and horizontal lathes. The company operates three shifts, and the position offers a flexible working culture, being family-owned and accommodating personal needs such as medical appointments. Benefits include six paid holidays and one week of accrued vacation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brodhead, KY.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
