** Job Summary
** Control or operate machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line. May be expected to handle heavy machinery.

The Production Process Technician Level 1 is an hourly / non-exempt entry-level role responsible for supporting the production and processing of food and dietary ingredients in a manufacturing plant. This position involves assisting with the operation and maintenance of production equipment, ensuring product quality, and adhering to safety and hygiene standards.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Assist in the setup, operation, and monitoring of production equipment.
* Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain product quality and consistency.
* Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas.
* Monitor production processes and report any deviations or issues to supervisors.
* Conduct quality checks and accurately record data.
* Adhere to all safety and hygiene regulations and guidelines.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and goals.
* Participate in training programs to develop skills and knowledge in food and dietary ingredient manufacturing.

* Qualifications:

*** High school diploma or equivalent.
* Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
* Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Previous experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
