Role Description

The Plant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dixon, KY, responsible for leading all plant operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing. This position oversees daily production activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization across injection molding and related services. The Plant Manager leads and develops plant teams, establishes performance goals, and promotes a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and accountability.

Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring key performance indicators, managing equipment maintenance and uptime, coordinating with engineering and quality teams, and ensuring on-time delivery to customers. The role also involves managing budgets, implementing operational best practices, supporting customer project requirements, and maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in Plant Management and Plant Operations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong Operations Management skills, including process improvement and resource optimization.
  • Experience with Production Planning and scheduling to meet customer deadlines and quality standards.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Manufacturing Operations, preferably in plastics injection molding or related industries.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including team management, coaching, and performance development.
  • Working knowledge of safety standards, quality systems, and lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Comfort with manufacturing software, ERP systems, and basic office productivity tools.
  • Pay based on experience.
