* ** Job Overview
** As a Welder 1, you will be responsible for fabricating metal structures and components using various welding techniques. You will work from blueprints and other technical drawings to produce high-quality welds that meet industry standards.
** Job Responsibilities*
* * Utilize MIG and TIG welding techniques to join metal components.
* Weld in various positions, including flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead.
* Adjust welding equipment settings to achieve desired weld quality.
* Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using various tools and equipment.
* Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements.
* Ensure accurate measurements and tolerances.
* Inspect welds for quality and conformance to specifications.
* Identify and correct welding defects.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
* Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Other duties, as assigned.
** Education – Experience Required*
* * 0-3 years of welding experience.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Manual dexterity.
* Basic math skills.
* Ability to use measuring tools, such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
* Ability to work in various positions, including bending, stooping, kneeling, and working overhead.
* Stay up-to-date on the latest welding techniques and technologies.
* Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals.
* Identify and troubleshoot welding problems.
