About

The Role 1st Shift Production Specialist

This position (Production Specialist) is responsible for the preparation and completion of engineered resins manufacturing for photochemistry applications. The 1st shift hours are 7am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Your Impact:

This position is responsible for the preparation and completion of engineered resins manufacturing for photochemistry applications. A detailed breakdown of the different responsibilities associated with this position is defined below.

What You'll Do:

  • Ensure a reliable live inventory of raw materials, WIP, or completed batches in the areas under his/her responsibility. You will be moving chemicals from inventory to mixing tanks and emptying drums into tanks.
  • Provide first hand support to Production on issues associated with the resins based on the actual process parameters that may result in significant downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with all Spectra health and safety and local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for creating, reviewing, submitting and completing the resin recipes required to accomplish the production schedules.
  • Submit and complete all the sampling associated with the batching process so batches are fully approved before use.
  • Ensure the effective utilization of raw materials in the batching area so minimal waste or obsolescence is avoided while accomplishing his/her duties.
  • Responsible to follow and maintain all the documentation associated with his/her activities as defined in the Quality Management System.
  • Address any potential equipment or batching process issues that may affect or delay the batching schedule.

You:

  • Associates degree or High School degree with production experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work on an independent basis.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Compensation

At Formlabs, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location and expected impact on the organization.

The hourly base pay range for this role is: $17.75 —$21 USD
