• Pull raw materials (boxes, combos, totes, or cases of meat) from freezers/coolers based on daily production orders and order request.
• Verify product codes, lot numbers, weights, and quantities against work orders to ensure accuracy
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) or FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory rotation practices
• Transport raw materials to designated production areas using buggies, pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks.
• Inspect product for damage, spoilage, temperature abuse, or quality issues and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as needed that may required participation.
• Keep staging areas, coolers, and freezers clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
• Adhere to strict temperature control protocols to maintain cold chain integrity.
• Follow all food safety, HACCP, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and USDA/FDA regulatory requirements.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including cold-weather gear, gloves, hairnets, and safety footwear.
• Communicate with production supervisors regarding material shortages or scheduling issues
• Perform other warehouse/production support duties as assigned. Such as disposal of carton, periodically throughout the day perform sanitation responsibilities. I.e removal of raw material and waste. Remove any ice build up or condensations in production area.

• High school diploma or GED preferred (not always required)
• Ability to work in cold environments (coolers/freezers, 28-40°F or below)
• Basic math skills for counting, weighing, and verifying quantities
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to stand for vast majority of the time while performing tasks
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced temp control environment
• Able to work independently
• Receive and Communicate Clearly with supporting teams
