** Join our team as a Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

**
* ** Performing physical and visual inspections
** of products and plant systems.
* ** Documenting and calculating results
** accurately.
* ** Taking corrective action,
** when necessary, such as alerting appropriate personnel to adjust processes, identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming products, and reporting results to management.
* ** Handling additional assignments
** as requested.  
** Shift/Pay
** This position works 1st shift. This position pays $21.95/hour and is paid weekly!###
** Working Conditions**
* ** Environment:
** Normal for a food manufacturing setting.

* Physical Requirements:

** Involves lifting materials and products up to 75 pounds.
* ** Safety Equipment:
** Use of steel-toed work boots, hardhats, safety glasses, hairnets, beard nets (if applicable), and smocks is required.
* ** Restrictions:
** Cell phones and jewelry are not permitted on the factory floor.  
** Requirements:

* Education:

** High school diploma or GED.

* Experience:

** Minimum of 1 years’ experience in the food manufacturing industry OR related Quality Assurance type experience.
** Communication

Skills:

** Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
** Special

Skills:

*** Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork.
* Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.
* Good problem identification and problem-solving skills.
* Math and organizational skills.
* Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
* Must function well under stress.
* Must have flexibility to work where and when needed.

* Physical Requirements:

*** Must be willing and able to lift up to 75 lbs
* Ability to stand on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day
* Must work in cold/hot temperatures typically ranging from 30-90 degrees Fahrenheit
* Must be able to work in wet environment
* Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, pushing and pulling
* Must be able to reach high and low levels frequently
* Ability to climb step ladders and or stairs
* Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed
