Sanitation Lead

Job Title:

Sanitation Lead - Miceli Dairy Products Company

• Cleaning: Overseeing the cleaning and sanitizing of food production, packing, and storage areas, as well as non-food handling areas
• Equipment Inspection: Ensuring equipment meets federal and state sanitation laws and plant standards
• Safety: Enforcing safety regulations and interpreting company policies to team members
• Sanitation Records: Maintaining sanitation records, including daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation records and chemical usage logs
• Chemical Handling: Ensuring proper use of chemicals and their safe handling
• Training: Leading, training, and providing feedback to sanitation team members
• Communication: Collaborating with other departments, such as Quality or Production, to solve problems
• Reporting: Reporting all food safety sanitation issues to an immediate supervisor

Must be able to perform repetitive, manual material handling without restriction, requiring but not limited to kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and grasping. Must demonstrate the strength and aerobic capacity needed for the work.
