Process Operator

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio

Salary: $19.00–$21.00 per hour

Positions available: Two

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM–4:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM–12:00 AM

As Natara continues to grow, we are looking to appoint two Process Operators to join our production team in Cincinnati – one working 1st shift and one working 2nd shift.

The Process Operator will operate and monitor production equipment involved in the manufacture of flavor ingredients. This includes mixing, clarification, discharge and cleaning processes using computer-controlled and manual systems.

You will work closely with the wider production team to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently and in accordance with internal procedures and customer specifications.

• Control and monitor the manufacture of flavor ingredients, including mixing, clarification, discharge and cleaning processes.
• Operate computer-controlled and manually controlled production equipment.
• Accurately follow production instructions, operating procedures and customer specifications.
• Maintain clear and accurate production records and operational logs.
• Read and understand process instructions, safety procedures and production documentation.
• Use basic mathematics when operating, monitoring and adjusting production processes.
• Complete in-process sample checks in accordance with established procedures.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic equipment, system and process issues.
• Escalate production, quality or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow all company health, safety, quality and environmental policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized working area.
• Support scheduled preventative maintenance and defined low-level maintenance activities.
• Complete all relevant company, system and process training.
• Perform other Process Operator duties as reasonably required.

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, chemical processing, food, beverage or another regulated environment is advantageous.
• Ability to read, understand and accurately complete written instructions and production records in English.
• Good basic math skills.
• Comfortable using computers and learning production-related systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Safety-conscious approach and willingness to follow established procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a production team.
• Forklift certification and previous forklift operating experience would be advantageous.

• Regular standing, walking, bending, stooping and lifting throughout the working day.
• Ability to frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally up 100 pounds, with appropriate support and equipment.
• The position may involve moderate to heavy physical work in varying working conditions.
