Schedule:
Monday - Thursday (4:45am - 3:15pm)
Join GALLO as a Packaging Technician and be part of a production team that helps keep our packaging operations moving safely, efficiently, and with quality at the center of every shift. In this hands‑on role, you will support bottling line operations by loading packaging materials, inspecting labels, operating equipment, performing quality checks, and helping maintain a clean, organized, and Food Safety compliant work area.
You will work closely with team members, leadership, and other departments to meet production goals while following safety, GMP, environmental, and quality standards. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys active work, takes pride in doing things the right way, and is ready to contribute to continuous improvement on the production floor.
Success in this position means bringing reliability, attention to detail, and a strong sense of urgency to each task. You will help support a workplace focused on safety, quality, productivity, sustainability, and teamwork while building valuable experience in beverage production and packaging operations.
What You'll Need- High school diploma or State‑issued equivalency certificate; OR, one (1) year of experience in beverage production, manufacturing or operations.
- Must be able to regularly lift, carry, or move up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to repetitively lift and uncase glass cases onto a conveyer belt, up to 50 lbs.
- Required to work any assigned shift (day, swing, graveyard, 5x8, 4x10); required to work weekends and overtime when necessary.
- Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Basic knowledge of data entry into production/quality systems.
- Required to comply with company GMP policies.
- Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
- Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
- High School Diploma or State‑issued equivalency certificate plus more than 1 year beverage production or manufacturing experience.
- Experience operating a forklift, using Warehouse Management Systems, and using a computer.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
