** Aggregate Equipment Operator Responsibilities:
*** Operate heavy equipment including loaders, crushers, screeners, and haul trucks at aggregate production sites.
* Feed raw material into crushing and screening equipment safely and efficiently.
* Monitor material flow, adjust machine settings, and ensure final product meets quality standards.
* Perform pre-shift inspections, routine equipment maintenance, and report mechanical issues.
* Work in close coordination with plant supervisors, truck drivers, and ground personnel.
* Follow strict safety protocols, company policies, and environmental regulations.
* Assist with general labor tasks such as shoveling, cleanup, and equipment adjustments as needed.
** Desired
Qualifications:
*** 1+ year of experience operating heavy equipment, preferably in an aggregate or mining environment.
* Familiarity with loaders, crushers, or screeners preferred.
* Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
* Commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a production team.
* Valid driver's license required; equipment certifications are a plus.
* High school diploma or GED preferred.
** Physical & Mental Demands:
*** Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
* Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather and dusty conditions.
* Long periods of standing, walking, climbing on equipment, and operating machinery.
* Ability to navigate tight areas
* Requires strong focus and situational awareness in high-noise, high-traffic environments.
* Rapid emergency egress
* Climb ladders
* Sit for extended periods of time
* Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs.
