The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is hiring student assistants to support the enrollment marketing and communications team. In this role, you will help produce and deliver the print, digital, and social content that reaches prospective students and their families throughout the admissions process, from a student's first inquiry through their decision to enroll at Belmont.
This is a hands‑on role with real deliverables. You will work alongside marketing and communications staff on live campaigns, contribute to social content that reaches a public audience, and gain practical experience with tools used across the marketing industry, including CRM platforms, email marketing systems, and social media management tools.
Key Responsibilities Print & Mail Production- Print, assemble, and quality-check admissions materials including letters, viewbooks, brochures, and event collateral
- Prepare and process mailings, including addressing, stuffing, sorting, and coordinating with campus mail services
- Maintain inventory of print materials and flag reorder needs
- Package and ship materials for college fairs, travel season, and off‑campus events
- Enter, update, and audit prospective student records in the admissions CRM
- Process inquiry cards, event registrations, and college fair lead lists
- Assist with list building, data cleanup, and duplicate resolution
- Assist with content creation for admissions social channels, including short‑form video, photo, graphics, and copy
- Capture photo and video content at campus visit events, information sessions, and around campus
- Draft caption copy and support content calendar scheduling
- Monitor engagement and compile performance summaries
- Contribute ideas from a current‑student perspective on what resonates with prospective students
- Support campus visit events, preview days, and admitted student programs as needed
- Assist with web page updates, proofreading, and content formatting
- Research and organize information for new campaigns and initiatives
- Other marketing and communications projects as assigned
Required
- Currently enrolled Belmont University student in good academic standing
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Reliability, discretion, and professionalism, this role involves confidential student information
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with limited supervision
- Comfort with Microsoft Office
Preferred
- Coursework or major in marketing, social media management, public relations, corporate communication, media studies, or a related field
- Experience creating content for social platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube)
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar design and video editing tools
- Basic photography or videography skills
- Prior customer service, office, or campus involvement experience
Must be enrolled as a student at Belmont University. Coursework or major in marketing, social media management, public relations, corporate communication, media studies, or a related field.
