Job Summary

The Director of Brand & Campaign is responsible for defining and leading Harley-Davidson’s North America brand strategy, integrated campaign planning, and go-to-market execution. This role serves as the connective engine between brand, product, and commercial outcomes - translating strategy into culturally relevant, consumer-led campaigns that drive demand, strengthen brand equity, and deliver measurable business results.

This leader owns annual planning and key launch moments across motorcycles, Parts & Accessories (P&A), Apparel & Licensing (A&L), Service, and strategic partnerships, ensuring a cohesive narrative and consistent execution across all channels and touchpoints. The role requires a balance of long-term brand stewardship and near-term commercial impact, with a relentless focus on integration, clarity, and performance.

Job Responsibilities
  • Own enterprise-level brand and campaign strategy, leading annual planning, seasonal storytelling, and high-impact go-to-market execution that connects brand positioning to product, retail, and cultural moments.
  • Define and lead the “middle layer” of marketing - translating brand strategy into integrated, consumer-led campaigns across paid, owned, earned, and experiential channels.
  • Lead annual marketing calendar development and orchestration of key launch moments, balancing tentpole launches with always-on storytelling to drive sustained demand and business performance.
  • Oversee product and innovation marketing, partnering with Product, Engineering, Commercial, and GTM teams to translate features into compelling consumer value and retail impact.
  • Set marketing strategy for Apparel & Licensing, Parts & Accessories, and Service, driving full-funnel growth while reinforcing the brand as a lifestyle leader beyond core products.
  • Lead strategic partnerships to expand reach, unlock new audiences, and strengthen cultural relevance while ensuring brand integrity and executional excellence.
  • Serve as the central cross-functional leader, aligning Brand, Media, PR, Experiential, Retail, and Dealer teams around clear priorities, toolkits, and execution standards.
  • Own performance measurement and optimization, balancing long-term brand building with measurable commercial outcomes and delivering executive-level reporting on impact and ROI.
Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Required

  • Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience. Minimum of 5 years of management experience.
Proven ability to make growth actionable, leveraging data analysis to translate insights into clear strategies, initiatives, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Deep expertise in performance marketing, with a strong understanding of how to design strategy, quantify impact, and optimize a mix of online and offline channels.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, including building, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams capable of driving sustained, high-growth results.
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, communicate effectively, and influence partners at multiple levels of the organization.
