We're looking for an experienced, creative, and strategic Assistant Vice President – Marketing Officer to lead our marketing initiatives, champion the customer experience, and develop a high-performing team that brings our brand to life.

This is a Full-time (On-Site) position, and will be based out of our main office in Laconia - in the heart of New Hampshire's Lakes Region.

What You'll Do

As our AVP – Marketing Officer
, you’ll play a key role in shaping how customers experience our brand across every touchpoint. You’ll oversee marketing initiatives from concept to execution while coaching a talented team and collaborating across the organization to drive growth, engagement, and customer loyalty.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and mentor the Marketing team, fostering collaboration, creativity, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Manage marketing projects and campaigns from planning through execution, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external agencies to develop compelling campaigns and brand experiences.
  • Drive customer-focused marketing strategies by analyzing feedback, identifying opportunities, and improving the customer journey.
  • Oversee creative development for advertising, branded content, digital communications, promotions, events, and community engagement.
  • Coordinate internal communications to keep employees informed of marketing initiatives, promotions, and product updates.
  • Create engaging content for the website, newsletters, annual reports, and other marketing materials.
  • Measure campaign performance, evaluate ROI, and recommend improvements based on data and customer insights.
  • Ensure all marketing materials meet brand standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance guidelines.
  • Support vendor management, audits, and other departmental initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted partner across the organization, helping strengthen our brand while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
What You Bring

We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands‑on leadership and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Prior supervisory/management experience leading, managing and developing a small marketing team.
  • Experience working in a customer experience, marketing, communications, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of customer engagement strategies across digital and traditional channels.
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong copywriting abilities.
  • Outstanding organizational, project management, and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure marketing effectiveness and campaign ROI.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • A creative problem solver who can balance strategic planning with day‑to‑day execution.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support company events and community initiatives.
