Sage Media is looking for a skilled political professional to join our team of passionate & talented political media competitive tracking team. We are a full-service media buying & tracking agency working for Democratic candidates and causes from every corner of the nation, from city council races to national candidate & advocacy campaigns. The Political Media Tracking Analyst will participate in all aspects of political media spending research for our candidate, issue, and advocacy clients.

- Acquire comprehensive market-by-market political media spending information from media outlets, data resources, and additional research.
- Compile, enter, code, analyze, and report a wide range of media spending information using our proprietary tracking platform and database:
Inside Track™. - Coordinate frequently with competitive department directors to assess current priorities and analyze media activity changes and shifts.
- Review video/audio content and code/associate with database information, noting changes in content.
- Assist in reporting spending to our campaign and independent clients.
- The salary range is $55,000 - $60,000 per year, plus end-of-cycle bonus

Our ideal candidate brings:- Understanding of and experience in campaigns or other political work. The ideal candidate possesses the political savvy to assess/prioritize the timeliness and importance of information being analyzed.
- Aptitude and experience with maintaining accurate and organized records, with prior campaign competitive, data, finance, or compliance experience an advantage.
- Experience using databases & spreadsheets, along with the numeric aptitude to use these tools effectively.
- The ability to multi-task and flex as priorities & workload change.
- An aptitude for collaborating with and for people who are in a different location: we use multiple technology resources to connect with our clients & co-workers, so experience using Teams, Google Docs, video conferencing, etc. is a plus.
- Self-direction: the Competitive Research Department works closely as a team, but also requires independent & self-directed effort.
- Discretion & dependability: we are handling sensitive and confidential information and take that responsibility seriously.
- Careful and meticulous attention to detail
- Experience in successfully managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively prioritize, manage time, and solve problems
- A positive attitude, with humor thrown in to balance out those crazy-but-we-love-it moments
