Happen Bank is looking for a Product Marketing Manager with a background in financial services to help shape how our new lending products and experiences are positioned, launched, and adopted. You'll bring hands‑on experience launching new products across marketing channels, turning customer insights into positioning and messaging that drive business growth and member engagement. You'll work cross‑functionally to ensure our products are differentiated, understood, and delivered through clear, trusted, and effective customer experiences.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Develop product positioning, messaging, value propositions, and segmentation strategies that support business growth and member engagement
- Take new products and features from 0 to 1, from market sizing through go‑to‑market execution and launch
- Partner with Analytics to define success metrics ahead of launch and track performance against them post‑launch
- Plan and execute paid and lifecycle marketing campaigns that drive acquisition, engagement, and retention across new lending products
- Partner with Business, Product, Analytics, Research, Compliance, Legal, and Marketing to bring customer‑informed strategies to market
- Translate customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence into actionable recommendations that influence product and marketing decisions
- Create messaging frameworks, launch materials, creative briefs that support consistent customer experiences
- Measure campaign and product performance, evaluate experiments, and use AI where useful to accelerate analysis and improve the quality of your own work
- 4+ years of product marketing experience, bachelor's degree in a related field; or equivalent work experience
- Experience in financial services, banking, lending, or fintech, with an understanding of the regulatory and compliance considerations that shape customer marketing
- Experience taking products from concept to launch in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments
- Strong analytical and customer research skills with the ability to turn insights into clear, independent business recommendations
- Experience collaborating across multiple functions and influencing stakeholders without direct authority
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts into compelling customer messaging
- You actively look for ways AI can improve your work, from accelerating analysis to thinking through problems from a different angle, and you're thoughtful about accuracy and data sensitivity
- You use AI to accelerate content development, audience analysis, and campaign optimization, and you're discerning about where editorial judgment still belongs to a human
- You take ownership of your work, proactively identify opportunities to improve outcomes, and adapt your approach based on feedback
- Experience with paid media platforms and lifecycle or CRM marketing tools such as Braze or Iterable
- Expertise with A/B testing and experimentation platforms
- MBA or equivalent
