The Role

Summit works with advisors who are great at what they do but don't have the time (or interest) to become marketers themselves. That's where you come in.

You'll be the marketing partner for our team of 30 advisors across multiple branches at a $3.5B RIA — not a ticket-taker who executes requests, but someone who actually sits down with them, figures out what's going to move the needle for their book of business, and builds a plan around it. Some advisors will know exactly what they want. Others will need you to tell them.

Both are part of the job.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

• Building annual marketing plans with advisors — real plans, not templates.
• Being the go-to marketing person for your advisors and their branches.
• Running campaigns across email, digital ads, social, events, and print (yes, some advisors still want print).
• Reviewing what's working, what isn't, and telling advisors the truth about both.
• Helping new advisors and branches get oriented when they join.
• Working closely with the broader marketing and business development teams so nothing you're doing happens in a silo.

How You'll Know You're Doing This Well

• Your advisors have plans they actually believe in, not ones they signed off on to check a box.
• Your work ships on time and doesn't need three rounds of fixes.
• Advisors call you before they call anyone else.
• The growth numbers move, and you can point to why.

What You Bring

• 5+ years in marketing, with a track record of owning plans and campaigns end-to-end — not just executing someone else's brief.
• Financial services or RIA experience is a strong plus; if you don't have it, you should be a fast learner comfortable getting up to speed
• You can manage a dozen competing priorities without dropping the important ones.
• You've used Hub Spot and Redtail, or you pick up new tools quickly.
• You're comfortable working remotely and managing your own schedule — no one's going to look over your shoulder.

Location & Travel

This is remote-first, but you'll want to live within a reasonable distance of a branch location. Expect some travel, including the occasional overnight trip — not constant, but not never.

Compensation

$75,000–$90,000, based on experience and location
