** Summary of Position:
** The Communications & Operations Coordinator is a full-time position supporting the Bettering Human Lives Foundation's mission to expand access to clean cooking fuels across Sub-Saharan Africa. The Foundation raises funds and provides low interest loans to entrepreneurs who distribute LPG (propane) or manufacture/sell cook stoves. This role supports a combination of external-facing communications and day-to-day operations, including social media content development, loan tracking, partner coordination, results reporting, fundraising, and donor engagement.

* Qualifications & Requirements:

*** Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, international development, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* One to three years of experience in digital communications, marketing, nonprofit program support, or administrative role.
* Strong writing and editing skills across social, email, and long-form formats, with the ability to adapt tone for donor, and public audiences.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel-based trackers and reports.
* Demonstrated accuracy and organization in maintaining records, schedules, and data on a timely basis.
* Ability to communicate professionally with international partners across multiple time zones and cultural contexts.
* Demonstrated interest in energy access or global development preferred.

* Primary Responsibilities:

*** Manage and execute the Foundation's communications strategy across Linked In, Instagram, email marketing, website content, and other digital platforms.
* Develop and publish engaging content, including social media campaigns, partner spotlights, blog posts, newsletters, annual report materials, and donor communications.
* Track, analyze, and report on digital engagement metrics to evaluate performance, identify growth opportunities, and increase audience reach.
* Design, implement, and maintain operational systems for tracking loan pipelines, partner progress, repayment schedules, and portfolio performance.
* Support the management of the clean cooking investment portfolio through data tracking, reporting, and partner communications.
* Coordinate communications with entrepreneurial partners across Sub-Saharan Africa regarding loan disbursements, repayment schedules, reporting requirements, and project updates.
* Assist with donor engagement initiatives, fundraising campaigns, sponsorship outreach, and stewardship communications.
* Prepare reports, presentations, impact materials for Foundation leadership, board members, and stakeholders.
* Manage administrative workflows, documentation, scheduling, and cross-functional project coordination to support Foundation operations.
* Support event planning and execution for board meetings, fundraising events, partner visits, and employee engagement initiatives.
* Contribute to organizational process improvements by developing tools and systems that enhance operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and program scalability.
