Education Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Experience developing marketing strategies, managing digital communications, and creating print and web content.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple marketing projects and meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency with website content management systems, social media platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Graphic design experience and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva are preferred.
- Knowledge of public health communication principles and community engagement strategies is a plus.
- Facilitate work groups with state and regional leadership to develop and implement regional and local marketing strategy plans aligned with CHS Strategic Plan.
- Create marketing content requests by coordinating submissions to the Office of Communications within established timelines.
- Develop, update, and maintain regional and local webpages that incorporate standardized organizational content while highlighting location specific information, programs, services, and events.
- Design, coordinate, and obtain appropriate approvals for printed or digital marketing and educational materials in accordance with organizational branding and communication standards.
- Collaborate with Health Promotion Coordinators to create culturally relevant outreach and educational materials that address public health misinformation, build community trust, and improve awareness of heath department services.
- Ensure all communications are consistent with organizational branding, messaging, and accessibility standards.
- Foster effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support community engagement and public health outreach efforts.
- Monitor communication initiatives and recommend improvements to increase community engagement and the effectiveness of outreach campaigns.
