Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Social Intelligence & Activation Intern to join the Social Acquisition team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in B2B social selling, audience intelligence, and data-driven marketing while working on meaningful projects alongside experienced marketing and sales professionals.
As a Social Intelligence & Activation Intern, you will support research, analysis, and project-based initiatives that inform how sales teams engage target audiences through professional social platforms such as Linked In. You will gain exposure to social selling workflows, audience research, performance analysis, and sales enablement practices within a global organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with team members across regions to support Social Intelligence & Activation initiatives within the Social Acquisition team.
- Conduct research to support target account, persona, and buying group identification efforts.
- Assist with gathering and organizing insights related to audience behavior, engagement trends, and buying signals.
- Support analysis of social selling and activation metrics to help identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist with preparing materials that support social selling programs, enablement efforts, and internal documentation.
- Support project-based initiatives related to social activation strategy, workflows, and best practices.
- Conduct research on industry trends, buyer behavior, and competitive social engagement approaches.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects and initiatives as needed.
- Develop the ability to operate with increasing independence on clearly defined assignments over the course of the internship.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in B2B marketing, social selling, sales enablement, or data-driven marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with professional social media platforms such as Linked In.
The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $50.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
