Aboutthe Role
The CRM Intern assists with marketing initiatives aimed at driving subscriber engagement and retention. You will learn to leverage marketing technology, marketing channels, and customer data to support lifecycle marketing campaigns and customer‑centric journeys.
Role based in New York City, NY. Must work from the NYC office 3x a week (Tuesday through Thursday).
This internship is embedded within the Engagement & Retention Marketing team and provides cross‑functional exposure to teams across the organization (Subscriber Revenue, Retention, Marketing Operations, Brand Marketing, Product, etc.).
You Will:- Assist with marketing tactics and strategies for engaging and retaining subscribers.
- Support the creation, production, and delivery of marketing materials by collaborating with internal departments, drafting creative briefs, and tracking internal approvals.
- Gain hands‑on experience in CRM tools to help build multi‑channel subscriber journeys and experiments.
- Collect, analyze and share insights regarding campaign performance in an organized and clear manner.
- Communicate effectively in team and cross‑functional meetings.
- Test, QA and validate consumer‑facing assets required for the expanding CRM programs and GTM initiatives.
- Run competitor analysis on subscriber journey best practices, and growing technologies in the customer engagement space.
- Develop and share new, original ideas to support creativity and innovation within the team.
- Exercise a thorough knowledge of Dow Jones brands and the news media industry.
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with proven time management skills.
- A demonstrated ability to balance multiple projects with competing deadlines and levels of priority.
- An ability to derive insights from campaign reports, and make data‑informed decisions.
- The ability to recognize problems before they arise, and proactively develop and recommend solutions.
- Outstanding cross‑group collaboration, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, problem‑solving, and presentation skills are required.
- Familiarity with or strong interest in multi‑channel CRM tools (e.g., Braze) and marketing automation.
- Enrollment in a 4‑year undergraduate degree program
- Graduating in Dec 2027 – July 2029 (U.S.)
