Member Engagement Coordinator

The Member Engagement Coordinator supports the development and execution of Three Rivers Electric Cooperative's communications, marketing, member engagement, and community outreach initiatives. Develops, produces, and maintains print and digital communications, social media and website content, internal communications, events, and community outreach resources that promote the Cooperative's services, programs and goals.

Works collaboratively with the Member Engagement Specialist, Cooperative departments, management, and employees to gather information, develop engaging content, coordinate projects, and maintain communication materials. Ensures communications are accurate, timely, professional, visually appealing, and consistent with established Cooperative brand standards.

• The Country Circuit: Assists with the production of the monthly eight-page The Country Circuit magazine, including gathering information and photos, preparing and proofreading content, formatting materials, and preparing files for publication and digital archiving.
• Digital & Social Media: Creates, prepares, schedules, and maintains content for the Cooperative’s website, social media platforms, digital sign, and other electronic communication channels. Develops content that highlights Cooperative programs, employees, events, community involvement, and member information.
• Graphic Design & Multimedia: Develops flyers, advertisements, social media graphics, presentations, signage, event materials, and other visual content using Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and other approved software. Captures, organizes, and edits photographs and videos for Cooperative communications and promotional purposes.
• Internal Communication: Works with employees and departments to gather information and identify stories, projects, accomplishments, and communication needs. Assists with the employee newsletter and other internal communication initiatives. Provides project updates to ensure relevant information is communicated accurately and effectively.
• Annual Meeting and Events: Assists with planning and executing the Annual Meeting, member appreciation events, employee functions, retirement celebrations, Christmas events, and other special events. Provides technical, creative, and logistical support including signage, programs, presentations, photography, registration materials, promotional materials and event communications.
• Youth & Community Programs: Assists with Youth Tour, CYCLE, the Gilbert G. Hilkemeyer Scholarship, school activities, career fairs, civic presentations, and other youth and community outreach programs. Helps prepare applications, promotional materials, presentations, correspondence, and other program materials.
• Advertising & Media: Assists with preparing and coordinating Cooperative advertising for newspapers, digital media, yearbooks, radio, television, and other media outlets. Assists with news releases, media requests, community announcements, and other external communications.
• Technical & Content Management: Maintains organized digital files, photographs, graphics, publications, and other communication materials. Ensures photos and materials are properly named, tagged, stored, archived, and prepared for future use. Assists with presentations, digital displays, document preparation, and other technical communication needs while maintaining Cooperative brand standards.
• Member & Department Support: Provides professional assistance to members regarding general Cooperative information, programs, events, publications, and communications. Collaborates with departments throughout the Cooperative on marketing, design, digital, event, and communication projects and serves as a communications resource for assigned projects.
