Overview
Harper Collins Children's Books is seeking a creative, organized, and dynamic Marketing Intern to provide support for the children's marketing teams working across books for ages 0-18. The role requires a detail-oriented and creative individual, able to multi-task and set priorities. We’re a dedicated and enthusiastic team looking for a fellow savvy digital marketer to join us!
ResponsibilitiesDevelop a working understanding of the teams and tasks involved in the publication of Harper Collins Children's Books
Learn important publishing software programs and use them to assist in administrative tasks and other departmental functions
Write marketing copy for social media posts, blog posts, and other digital content for the Harper Kids and/or Epic Reads brands
Participate in photoshoots and content brainstorms with marketing and social media teams
Assist with creation of designed graphics, videos, and other digital assets for marketing campaigns and social promotion
Coordinate marketing mailings for buzz building campaigns to influencers
Candidates who are available to work in a full-time capacity in 2027 or 2028 are eligible for this internship; open to rising seniors, recent graduates, master's students, or entry level candidates with up to 1 year of work experience.
Candidates must be available to work 21 hours per week across 3 or 4 days, from February 8 to April 16, 2027, at the location specified in the job description. This internship is compensated at a rate of $18 per hour.

Ideal candidates are either currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from an undergraduate or master's program.
A passion for books is highly valued! All book lovers are welcome, but a strong familiarity with the children's book market is a plus.
Proactive and attentive to detail
Excellent writing skills, including ability to write in a voice appealing to consumers and consistent with Harper Kids and/or Epic Reads brand
Experience in content creation particularly on Instagram and Tik Tok strongly preferred
Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills a must
Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of platforms including Canva, Word Press, and Photoshop a plus!
