Outreach Support Specialist

The Outreach Support Specialist will provide the Bureau of Global Acquisitions (GA) Front Office with dedicated communications support. This individual will work closely with and assist the Senior Outreach and Engagement Advisor in carrying out the GA Front Office's external and internal communications’ priorities on behalf of the Chief Acquisition Officer.

Tuvli, an Akima company, is hiring for an Outreach Support Specialist to support our DoS client located in Washington, DC.

• Supporting social media content development and managing the GA Industry Liaison Linked In page, which involves posting, monitoring engagement metrics, and refining content strategy.
• Assist with graphic design and visual materials using Canva,
• Help draft speeches, talking points, and core messaging for the CAO and GA leadership, and contribute to communications products like presentations and fact sheets.
• Maintain and update the GA State.gov web presence.
• Contribute to writing and distributing an internal GA/Bureau newsletter.
• The specialist will support both external industry engagement events- such as industry days and webinars and internal events like town halls and staff briefings, handling logistics, messaging, and follow-up communications.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or similar field.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and in Canva for graphic design.
• Strong writing skills to support speech writing, newsletters, and web content.
• Experience assisting with organizational social media management (preferably Linked In).
• Familiarity with basic engagement analytics and reporting.
• Ability to work collaboratively and responsively to support the Advisor's day-to-day communications needs.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.
