The base salary range for this position is $230,400 to $345,600. The position may be eligible for a role specific discretionary bonus, relocation, and/or other compensation elements. We continuously review market data and may adjust salary ranges as needed in the future. Actual compensation will be based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, and other factors permitted by law.

This role is based on-site at our Ridgefield, CT location with hybrid flexibility of 2-3 days per week on-site.
The US Early Assets Eye Health Marketing Lead drives corporate TA development to maximize commercial value for U.S. market and to create a U.S. commercialization strategy for future portfolio of early assets. Provides input and insight-based recommendations into key strategic early asset deliverables. This role serves as the strategic marketing lead on the U.S. Early Assets teams until transitioning to a core team member of the U.S. Early Assets Eye Health Team around SoD.
This role is responsible for leading U.S. commercial strategy and value maximization for eye health assets and new indications from preclinical development and cTPP formation through transfer to the asset team at Release of Full Development (ROFD). The role brings a deep U.S. eye health perspective to global pipeline commercial activities and prepares each opportunity for informed investment, development, differentiation, and transition decisions.
- Therapeutic scope is eye health, with particular emphasis on retinal diseases including geographic atrophy (GA), diabetic retinopathy (DR), diabetic macular edema (DME), and age-related macular degeneration (AMD), including neovascular AMD where relevant.
- Development scope begins in preclinical development, including cTPP development, and continues through formal transfer to an asset team at ROFD.
- Primary focus is asset strategy, commercial value maximization, evidence-based U.S. input, and pre-ROFD commercialization planning. Post-transfer brand execution and launch tactics are outside the scope of this role.
- Stakeholder scope includes retina specialists, comprehensive and general ophthalmologists, optometrists, patients, caregivers, payers, integrated eye care networks, and other partners that influence diagnosis, referral, treatment, access, and longitudinal care.
Eye Health Asset and Portfolio Strategy
- Lead the U.S. early asset strategic plan or Value Proposition Development Plan for each assigned eye health asset and new indication, establishing strategic choices, value drivers, U.S. success factors, assumptions, risks, and decision points required before ROFD.
- Translate retinal science, clinical evidence, patient experience, provider workflow, referral dynamics, payer considerations, and market insights into actionable commercial recommendations that guide development and maximize long-term U.S. value.
