OverviewThe Media Supervisor, Paid Social leads the strategic planning, activation oversight, and performance management of paid social campaigns designed to drive client business and marketing objectives. This role serves as a key client-facing partner, translating business goals, consumer insights, and market trends into integrated paid social strategies across major social platforms.
The Media Supervisor is responsible for managing campaign performance, driving innovation, and overseeing the execution of complex paid social programs while mentoring junior team members. This position partners closely with strategy, analytics, creative, activation, and account teams to develop recommendations, optimize performance, and deliver measurable business outcomes for clients.
Responsibilities- Lead the development and execution of paid social media strategies aligned to client business goals and marketing objectives.
- Own the creation and presentation of paid social recommendations, audience strategies, channel plans, budget allocations, and media investments.
- Serve as a day-to-day client contact, providing strategic guidance, performance insights, and proactive recommendations.
- Oversee campaign activation, trafficking, QA, and launch execution to ensure platform best practices and operational excellence.
- Guide campaign pacing, budget management, and delivery to ensure media investments perform efficiently and effectively.
- Analyze campaign performance and develop actionable insights that drive optimization and improve business outcomes.
- Lead ongoing testing initiatives, measurement frameworks, learning agendas, and innovation opportunities across social platforms.
- Identify emerging platform trends, audience behaviors, and industry developments to inform client strategies.
- Partner closely with analytics teams to evaluate performance and communicate results through meaningful reporting and storytelling.
- Collaborate with strategy, creative, account, and activation teams to deliver integrated media solutions.
- Review and approve client deliverables including media plans, reporting, campaign recaps, and presentations.
- Support forecasting, budget management, billing reconciliation, and overall account financial stewardship.
- Mentor and provide day-to-day guidance to Media Planners and Associates, supporting professional development and quality control.
- Manage multiple client priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy, organization, and strategic thinking.
- Foster strong relationships with media partners to identify opportunities for innovation, beta programs, and first-to-market solutions.
