Associate Minister
- The Associate Minister shall work with the Lead Minister and Elders to coordinate the ministries of the church through oversight of volunteer leaders, support staff, schedules, facilities, systems, and resources, especially overseeing the areas of Youth (6th–12th grades) and worship.
- Teach 6th–12th grades on Sunday evenings.
- Lead a team of volunteers in lesson planning, event planning, and promoting/communicating the schedule of services and regular events.
- Outreach to students and pastoral visitation such as periodic lunch at schools, attending games, or hospital visitation.
- Lead MS and HS trips to CIY Mix and Move in the summer months.
- Work alongside the Children’s Minister on the VBS program.
- Plan in conjunction with the Lead Minister and Lead weekly worship on Sundays.
- Lead blended worship from guitar or keyboard.
- Work in conjunction with volunteers to maintain the church website and social media accounts.
- Able to preach when called upon.
- Assist in various tasks and duties around the church as needed.
- Weddings and funerals as requested.
- Attend weekly Staff Meetings, monthly Board meetings, and Elders Meetings as requested.
- Directly responsible to the Lead Minister.
- Committed follower of Christ.
- Outgoing and self-motivated.
- Able to recruit, manage, encourage, and lead volunteer teams.
- Able to be a positive and compatible member of the ministry staff.
- Desire for spiritual growth and learning.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly organized and familiar with leading and implementing systems.
- Ordained in a Christian Church/Church of Christ or willing to go through the ordination process.
- Ministry and/or management experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Willing to become a member of CCC if not already.
- Can pass a background check.
Full-Time Role: approximately 40 hours/week, compensation based on experience/qualifications.
Preferred Skills- Video editing capabilities with software such as iMovie or Adobe Premiere.

- Ability to navigate web-based programs such as Soundcloud, You Tube, Wix, Canva, and social media platforms.
Other duties as assigned.
