Senior Pastor

Position Summary

Queens Herald Church, Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA), located in Fresh Meadows, Queens, NY, seeks a Senior Pastor to lead over 500 Chinese and English‑speaking congregants.

• Lead the entire church, guiding staff and lay leaders toward life change and Gospel impact.
• Adopt and uphold the C&MA Statement of Faith and represent the church in partnership with the Metropolitan District, the Chinese Churches Association, and other community organizations.
• Develop and communicate a clear, inspirational vision for the church; preach and teach the Word of God in Cantonese and English.
• Establish and maintain a healthy team dynamic, providing coaching, mentoring, and conflict resolution.
• Oversee administration, budgeting, and operations of the church, including staff supervision and strategic planning.
• Foster spiritual growth and discipleship for leaders and the congregation, encouraging Christian living and character development.

• Ordained pastor with a Master of Divinity or equivalent degree.
• Minimum 10 years of pastoral experience, preferably as a senior pastor, overseeing ministries and staff.
• Sound theological knowledge and training; committed to C&MA accreditation/licensing.
• Strong communication skills, capable of preaching and teaching in Cantonese and English.
• Proven leadership with self‑leadership that translates into team leadership.
• Experience in budgeting, administration, and managing church operations.
• Character built on trustworthiness, compassion, and a personal relationship with God.
• Preferred: fluent in Cantonese; openness to serving a multi‑generational, bilingual congregation.

$90,000 – $100,000 per annum with competitive benefits for the area.
