About the Role
The Kentucky College Coach program is an Ameri Corps program administered by Serve Kentucky and Kentucky Campus Compact and funded by Ameri Corps, the Agency.
The Kentucky College Coach will work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and community partners to help increase the capacity for institutions to help students persist and graduate through direct mentoring/coaching/tutoring, support of high-impact practices, and/or providing service to others (on- or off‑campus community service).

DurationFull-time service, September 1, 2026 – August 31, 2027.
(Service can be renewed for up to 4 terms.)
Living Allowance / Pay$1,850 per month in living allowance, less FICA and other applicable taxes

- an education award of up to $7,395 upon completing service (depending on the number of months of service) for members beginning service in September.
- Members can also apply for SNAP, health and childcare benefits as needed, per Ameri Corps program guidelines.
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree (required)
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- mentoring experience
- Members are required to submit monthly activity reports to help measure impact as well as bi-weekly time sheets
- Members must be at least 17 years old and a U.S. Citizen, U.S. national, or legal permanent resident alien.
- Must be able to pass a National Service Criminal History Check.
