Location: Northern

Salary Range This position is a non-exempt / hourly position with benefits for employees who work at least 30 hours per week. Part-time employees receive minimal fringe benefits. The salary range for the Baltimore County Transit-Oriented Development Organizer is $30 – $34 per hour (equivalent to $62,400-$70,720 per year for full-time), commensurate with experience and demonstrated outcomes.

Location:

Hybrid – Preferred 1 day per week in person at 1350 I Street, NW, Suite 425, Washington, DC 20005 due to job responsibilities in Baltimore County.
Job Classification:
Two options under consideration:
Non-exempt, Full-Time or Part-Time (open to negotiation based on candidate availability, qualifications, and experience)
Grant Term:
This position is funded by a one-year grant and renewal is not guaranteed.

Your Role

The Baltimore County Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Organizer will serve as a Coalition for Smarter Growth representative in Baltimore County to win support for sustainable, equitable transit-accessible communities, providing on-the-ground presence and working under close supervision and in partnership with CSG’s Maryland Housing Advocacy Manager, an experienced grassroots organizer and policy expert. We will evaluate both full-time and part-time options depending upon the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and availability.
